How a bulk food-ingredient supplier became the #1 name AI cites for banana flakes in the USA

Objective

Establish Pure & Good Foods as the go-to bulk supplier for banana flakes, banana paste and freeze-dried fruit ingredients in the United States — the name AI recommends when manufacturers and buyers source ingredients at scale.

Challenge

Ingredient sourcing is a wholesale B2B market where buyers compare a short list of global suppliers. Being absent from that list has direct commercial cost:

▸  When procurement teams ask AI “who are the banana-flake wholesalers in the USA?”, only a few large, well-known suppliers appear — and anyone missing is quietly excluded from RFQs.

▸  The brand needed to rank for high-intent supplier and product terms and to appear inside those AI-generated supplier shortlists, not just on traditional search.

Approach

We ran the same combined SEO + AI-search (GEO/AEO) programme, built for wholesale procurement intent:

▸  Entity & authority building — positioned Pure & Good Foods as a distinct, credible bulk supplier tied to each product line (banana flakes, banana paste, freeze-dried fruit).

▸  Product & spec clusters — content covering formats, certifications (organic / non-GMO) and pack sizes that wholesale buyers and AI systems look for.

▸  Citation-ready, spec-dense formatting & schema — structured the fact-heavy detail LLMs prefer to quote in supplier round-ups.

▸  Continuous query targeting — tracked the procurement-style questions buyers ask AI tools and matched content to them.

Results

Pure & Good Foods reached page one for all five terms — including the #1 spot for banana-flake wholesalers in the USA — and is now surfaced first among the cited suppliers in Google’s AI Mode and recommended in ChatGPT.
